CIMA!

penah brangan nk LI kat tmpt ni
tp setelah 1 bln call sana, HR dia kata kos x related
hancur harapan dan sdkt sbnyk rasa lega coz x payah terus call sana dah
ari tu jugak, terus accept twrn Kilang Gula yg telah disimpan selama 2 minggu

sehari pas balik dr uzbek
pd 9 dec pukul 4.55 ptg, dpt surat twrn dr CIMA
aku amek sndiri surat tu dr posmen
dia antar surat direct ke umah
dpt kat bhgn Manufacturing Department
time ni, hny lagi 4 ari sblm start LI
aiyak, sekali lg ati belah bahagi
ya la, dpt gak kat tmpt yg diidam2kan
dgn kekangan masa yg singkat n since aku da accept Kilang Gula
surat twrn tu hnya dipandang sepi

perbezaan CIMA n KILANG GULA (KG)
a) masa bekerja
CIMA : isnin - jumaat shj (8.30 am - 5.30 pm)
KG : isnin - sabtu (8.00 am - 4.00 pm)
b) elaun
CIMA : RM500/month
KG : RM8/day
c) jarak dr umah
CIMA : 20km (20 minit)
KG : 27km (30 minit)

da ditakdirkan yg aku memg x da jodoh ngan CIMA
so, bye2 CIMA
tetapkan hati, no regret!
InsyaAllah, ada hikmah disebalik suma ni~

maka dgn ini diisytiharkan bhw aku akn mnjalani LI selama 6 bln di Kilang Gula Felda Perlis bermula 14 dec 2009- 28 may 2009
dan teman seLI aku ialah Ilya Fatehah Azizan Nashriby
so, aku p n balik ngan dia, bfast n lunch ngan dia, p tgk kwsn kilang pun ngan dia, p toilet pun ngan dia, pendek kata p mn2 pun kami p skali la
mungkin ni salah satu dr hikmah dia, aku ada TEMAN spnjg LI

so, aku akan jdkn blog ni sbg logbook x formal aku..

1st day

registration postponed to next day due to incomplete of indemnity form
kena p beli setem hasil RM10
so, 5 min ja la kat KG tu

2nd day

again, registration also postponed to next day
kali ni sbb x p pemati setem hasil yg beli marin tu
hny 10 min di KG

3rd day

after 2 days postponed, ari ni selamat di"register"kan di KG as trainee for 6 months
diberi safety helmet n ear plugs, kmdn dibawa ke Production Department
wah, skali lg kebetulan, kat situ, aku jumpa Siti Suraya Che Nat, kwn sek men dulu...dia pun tgh praktikal kat situ n sama department ngan aku, tp dia akan abes praktikal mggu dpn coz dia start praktikal bln 6 ari tu lg, tp x pa, aku ada 2 minggu tuk berguru ngan dia
see, hidup aku dipermudahkan kat sana
Su bwk aku n Ilya p mlwt kilang, terang kat kami apa yg patot n bwk kami p caneyard n kami diberi peluang tuk bwk crane yg digunakan tuk angkut tebu, tq Pak Cik Zaki...best bwk menatang tu, cara dia sama lebih kurg cam bwk keta auto..
actually ari tu jugak ari 1st tebu masuk caneyard tuk musim ni...dan tu jugak 1st time Su tgk suma process tu coz time dia masuk praktikal bln 6 ari tu bkn musim tebu, time tu KG just proses raw sugar tuk produce gula..
see, untungkan aku n ilya, ari 1st masuk da bleh tgk suma proses tu..

so, apa yg aku dpt kat sana tuk ari 1st ni?
Uncle Ng Hup Huat, shift chief, explained about the whole process of making sugar.
Basically, there are 4 main process of making sugar which are
a) milling
b) crystallization
c) separation
d) packing

and there are 3 important term that i must remembered
a) brix - used to det the [] of the sugar
b) purity - used to test how much sucrose in the cane
c) polarization (pol) - used in sugar analysis

The flow to get a sugar are :

cane -> mix juice -> clarified juice -> raw syrup -> mother liquor -> raw sugar -> sugar

4th day

ari ni x wat pa sgt, just duk dlm ofis n ms awai pg tu, Kak Fiza ada bwk p lepak kat cane yard sat. Waktu laen just lepak dlm ofis since perut pun wat prangai.

So, apa yg nk diisi dlm logbook?
Today, Uncle Huat told us about the KG Organization Structure

Board of directors -> Exco -> Senior Gen. Manager -> Senior Manager -> Managers ->
Asst. Managers -> Shift Chief -> Ass. Shift Chief ->Foreman -> Asst. Foreman -> Operator -> Contract workers

u know guys, factors that may influence the sugar cane are :
a) weather
b) temperature
c) type of soil

so far, there are 15 species of cane which is used by KG, named with T1 - T15 accordingly

KG produced 3 types of sugar due to their size :
a) normal size, 1-1.1 mm
b) export grade, 1.2 mm
c) fine grade, 0.5 mm

Basically, sugar that we have in Malaysia is so much cheaper than the other countries.
Prove? U will know after this. Let compare price/kg with 3 chosen countries.

Malaysia - RM1.45
Indonesia - RM2.95
Thailand - RM2.45
Singapore - RM2.40

The figure maybe change time by time, but roughly we can get sugar here with the lowest price.
